Why did you choose your profession?
I fell in love with computers at 12 when my stepdad surprised me with a Commodore 64 for Christmas. In college I began to see how technology could move a business forward, not just keep it running. During an internship at a publishing company that marketed health education products, I watched tech streamline the way we worked and reached customers. They hired me after graduation, and that first role is where I learned how thoughtfully applied technology becomes a strategic advantage.
Who is the one person who has done the most to shape you into who you are today? How was the person significant to you?
My Uncle Jack Hyatt Jr. made the biggest impact on who I am. After my parents divorced when I was 10, he stepped in as the steady voice I needed. Unk taught me how to hunt, sail, fix my 1968 Mustang, and run a business. He lived with integrity, cared for his clients and friends, and built teams around shared values. He often hired people he trusted, helped them grow, and then launched them to lead their own divisions. Watching him integrate work and life taught me what real leadership looks like.
What has been the greatest accomplishment of your life so far? Is there anything you wish to do better?
Starting a digital marketing business from the ground up is my proudest professional milestone. I built it during nights and weekends to provide for my wife and children, and I brought in mentors to sharpen my thinking. That journey taught me how to lead, how to run a healthy business, and how to think like a technology strategist. I want to keep growing as a leader and mentor, so I read daily and put what I learn into practice.
How would your peers and team members describe your responsiveness as a leader?
Peers and teammates describe me as proactive, responsive, and service minded. I take on new challenges without hesitation, and I enjoy organizing teams around clear goals. I focus on helping people do their best work while holding myself to the same standard.
